Healthy Mock-tail and Cocktail Recipes for Cinco de Mayo!

Palomas and Spicy Margs are my favorite. What are your favs?

I’m excited to share my favorite simple and healthy swaps you can make for your cocktails.

SWAP THIS —> FOR THAT

  • Swap pre-made mixes (especially margarita mix) with fresh lime juice

  • Swap simple syrup with maple syrup or honey.

  • Add coconut water to any drink to give it a natural sweetness, added potassium, and added hydration to combat the alcohols dehydrating effects.

  • Swap sweetener with kombucha it is naturally sweet and boosts the nutrition by adding beneficial bacteria to help your gut while you drink.

  • Swap artificial juices with fresh juices. Add antioxidants and anti inflammatory ingredients like pomegranate, cranberry, ginger, turmeric, blackberries, strawberries, lemon and lime.

These four are my favorites from the recipes testing yesterday.
